JAMB 2026 Registration: The Complete Manual
Everything you need to successfully register, choose the right subjects, and prepare for your UTME without making costly mistakes.
1. Mandatory Registration Requirements
Before you even step foot into a CBT center or attempt to buy your e-PIN, you must have your primary documents ready. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board is extremely strict regarding identity verification this year.
2. How to Generate Your Profile Code
Your profile code is a unique 10-digit number that links your NIN to the JAMB portal. Do not use another person's phone number to do this; it must be your personal line.
3. Choosing the Right Subject Combination
Choosing the wrong subjects is the number one reason students are denied admission, even with a score of 300+. You must choose Use of English (compulsory) plus three subjects relevant to your course.

4. Purchasing the e-PIN
Once your profile code is sent to your phone, you can purchase your e-PIN. The official price for the 2026 UTME registration (including the compulsory reading text) will be paid directly at approved banks, VTU platforms, or via Remita.
5. Final Registration at Accredited CBT Centers
Do not go to a standard cyber cafe to register. You must go to a JAMB Accredited CBT Center. They will capture your fingerprints (biometrics) and take a live photograph of you.
